Suite à de nombreuses rumeurs, voici que Celebrity annnonce pour le Century un remodelage complet de son navire le plus populaire. Aux coûts de 55$ millions, le projet provoit l'ajout de 314 nouveaux balcons et le réaménagement complet des cabines. L'ajout d'un restaurant alternatif sous la direction de Michel Roux, un nouveau club pour enfants, un bar à martini et l'ajout de nouveaux équipements internet. Le navire devrait entrer en câle sêche en avril 2006 et reprendre le service à la mi-juin.
Voici une très bonne nouvelle de la part d'une compagnie qui ne prévoit aucun nouveau navire prochainement et pour les inconditionnels (comme moi) du Century.
