Le bateau a été affrété pour l'occasion et donc il n'y aura pas de passagers autre que ceux de la célèbre animatrice.

J'ai hâte de voir si il y aura une émission spéciale pour cette occasion.

Oprah Winfrey arrives in Barcelona to launch celebratory cruise with 1723 guests

Oprah Winfrey will come to Barcelona to start a Mediterranean cruise in the company of 1723 invited guests. The star of television thus commemorates her 55 years. The cruise, charter type, will be on the Norwegian Gem, which tomorrow will land at Terminal A, Moll Adossat and depart at 7 pm Monday. The consignee is P & B Agencies.

For Winfrey, who Forbes magazine, has on several occasions promoted as the most powerful celebrity in the world, in the last issue was relegated to second place by Angelina Jolie.

The cruise ship accepts a total of 3,000 passengers, but this time only guests of the American showwoman will be on board, which means that they will travel with 1,200 crew members who will provide nearly a one to one service. Mikel Hilden is the captain of this ship.

The cruise makes the following route: Civitavecchia (day 24), Messina (25), Piraeus (27) Smyrna (28), Istanbul (29 and 30), Santorini (July 1), La Valetta (3), with return Barcelona.

Winfrey has an overwhelming personality, a contagious sympathy and is a cunning journalist and entrepreneur who has led her to realize one of the most dizzying runs in American television. At the age of nineteen she was the youngest broadcaster in the history of local television and was also the first African American to win the post in a particularly racist Nashville.

She transferred to Baltimore and then to Chicago, from where she today broadcasts every day the most popular talk-show in the United States, Winfrey has also developed a career as an actress and film producer. She made her debut in Spielberg’s ‘The Colour Purple’ which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress, she has produced several films and television series such as Beloved.

The success of her program is based on the intimate connection she has established with the most humble of the U.S. population (whereas for example, David Letterman and Jay Leno are directed to the most educated), Winfrey has also founded a literary club which has helped the careers of many writers.

Alors ce n'est plus une rumeur.... nous étions sur le Gem en Mars dernier et nous avions entendu parler que peut-être Oprah ferait une croisière
privée sur le Gem alors nous avons demandé au Capitaine lors d'un après-
midi ou nous pouvions rencontré les membre d'équipage et posé différente question.... et réponse il n'a pas confirmer mais il n'a pas nier non plus..

Comme quoi parfois que les rumeurs sont vrai.
