Achat d'une croisière

Bonjour à tous

Je viens tout juste de découvrir ce site tout à fait merveilleux, gang de trippeux de croisière

Tout d'abord, j'ai fait une croisière sur le Voyager of the seas en février 05 et j'en suis toujours pas revenu ... Nous avions une cabine avec balcon et pour rien au monde j'irais dans une cabine intérieure

C'est certain que je me magasine une croisière prochainement et je fouille un peu partout de façon à trouver un excellent deal ... Ma question est : pour ceux qui n'ont pas de très grand moyens, comment faîtes vous pour trouver vos croisières?

La façon que j'ai trouvé à date est de magasiner directement sur les sites de cie de croisière et finalement expedia.ca pour le transport aérien ... d'autres suggestions???

J'examine aussi toute les compagnies puisque j'ai un peu de difficulté à choisir J'ai adoré la Royal Carribbean et j'hésite à choisir une autre de peur d'être décu. On m'a suggéré Célébrity mais maudit que c'est pas facile à choisir

Bienvenu parmi nous. En effait, il n'est pas facile de choisir une croisière. Je vous donne mes trucs: un, je vais soit sur le site de "Cruise Only" www.cruisesonly.com ou celui de "Cruise Deals" www.cruisedeals.com , j'inscris mes préférences et je peux ainsi voir toutes les possibilités offertes par les différentes compagnies d'un seul coup, mais je ne réserve jamais via ces sites. Si vous voulez réserver directement avec un des ses sites, les meilleurs deals sont avec "Vacation to go" www.vacationstogo.com

Tout dépend ce qui compte le plus pour vous, le navire ou l'itinéraire? Il est important de savoir ce que vous recherchez comme style et activitées, chaques compagnies à sa spécialité. Celebrity a une clientèle plus tranquille et un peu plus agé et sophistiquée, RCI cible plus la clientèle très active. A vous de voir.

Pour mes vols, je réserve directement avec la compagnie, Expedia est souvent plus chère.

Merci toutou ! Je ne connaissais pas ces sites. D'autant que je suis surpris d'expedia puisqu'on m'avais dis que c'était "LE" site pour le transport aérien.

Une autre trippeuse de croisière ici présente...

Il y a effectivement des centaines de sites où tu peux trouver de l'info. Pour ma part, pour voir les compte-rendus de voyageur et obtenir de l'information sur les navires il y a trois sites que je fréquente régulièrement - en plus de celui-ci:

Ces sites ne sont pas des agences de voyage et ne vendent pas de produit, mais on peut y découvrir une tonne d'information.

Pour ce qui est de faire de 'bonnes affaires', ma technique est la suivante. Pour des croisières dans le Sud, je booke dernière minute d'une de quelques agences qui se spécialise en croisières. Pour les croisières un peu plus complexes, je visite les sites des compagnies, et quand je trouve, je booke directement avec la compagnie. Ensuite, je magasine un peu et transfère mon booking à une agence qui pourra compléter l'achat pour les vols, hotels etc.

Je surveille aussi quelques agences qui font des groupes - l'avantage c'est que les prix sont souvent très intéressant, et un groupe de croisière c'est très différent d'un voyage organisé - en croisière on est libre de faire ce qu'on veut, on n'est pas toujours avec le groupe.

Bonjour voici une personne qui a achete sa croisiere sur internet .Pour ma part j achete mes croisieres avec un agent de voyages car le prix est toujour plus bas que sur le web et j ai le service. Car la politique de la RCI est tout le monde a le meme prix annonce et je crois que Princess fait de meme .


posting on here, but I've been reading these boards for a while. This past Thursday, I booked the April 15th sailing on the Sapphire Princess, round-trip out of Los Angeles for my husband, my son, my sister-in-law and myself. We booked through an online travel agency. Everything was fine until this Saturday, when my son checked the website for the travel agency, and discovered that the price for the inside room I had booked for him and his aunt had gone down considerably.

I called up the travel agency's 800 number, to request the difference between what I paid and the current price. They told me that the person I originally booked with was out of the office, and I would need to wait until Monday to do anything. I then spoke with customer service for the travel agent, who told me that they aren't going to be able to give me the difference unless I cancel the cruise (for a $749 cancellation fee) and rebook with the new prices. They said it has to do with a Flash Promotion -- either my booking was a Flash Promotion, or the new prices are part of a Flash Promotion, I'm not entirely sure which.

I ended my call with them, and I called Princess. The woman with Princess told me that it would be no problem to get the difference without having to cancel and rebook. Additionally, she said to make sure that the travel agent doesn't "bulldoze" me into not getting the difference in price. She said all I had to do was call the online travel agency, have them call Princess and ask for the refund.

So, I did just that. I called the travel agency back, and they put me through to customer service again. While on hold, I did a three-way conference call with Princess directly, so I could get them all talking at the same time. Unfortunately, it came down to that I needed the exact person I booked through at the travel agency to call Princess. Princess wasn’t authorized to speak with me, and the travel agency’s policy is that they refuse to allow any other employee but the one you dealt with originally to assist you. I decided to just let this wait until Monday morning at 9:00am, when they said he would be in the office.

Fast forward to this morning, Monday, a few minutes after 9:00am. I was told that he wasn’t in the office, but he would be in by noon. Fine, I’ll call back at noon.

Fast forward a bit more to noon. I call back, and I’m told he’s out sick. They’re not sure when he’ll be back. They give me to the manager of the place, who immediately comes on the phone saying something along the lines of “So, I hear that you’ve been calling and harassing my people.”. I said “Excuse me, no, I’m actually calling about something else. I would like to find out if I can just upgrade the inside room to a balcony, and downgrade the mini-suite for myself and my husband to another adjoining balcony room.”. I figured it would be easier to just pay the same price if they could at least change the rooms for me.

Unfortunately, the manager refused to help me. He apparently was so angry with me, he said he didn’t want to deal with me anymore, and that I should just talk to Princess. I told him that they refused to talk to me. He said that he was going to call as soon as we were done talking and authorize them to speak with me.

I called Princess, and they had no idea what I was talking about. So, I called the travel agency back, I was once again connected to the manager, and he told me he would deal with it. I again called Princess, and they said that there was a note in the file that they were specifically NOT to speak with me. Angry, I called him back again, and did another three-way conference call with the manager and Princess.

The Princess person said that she needed confirmation from him that they could speak with me. All he would say is “You’re allowed to explain Flash Promotions to her.”. He refused to authorize them to speak to me, like he promised he would. He then said that I need to stop calling, that there’s nothing I can do, and they’re fed up with me.

So, this is where I am. At this point, I just want to change the rooms to the two adjoining balconies. I don’t know where this $749 cancellation fee came from, they never told me. What can I do to rectify this situation? Any advice?

I’ve used this company twice in the past with no problems, but now I’m seriously regretting it. Next time we book a cruise, I’m definitely going back to my local travel agent.[/QUOTE]SALUT ET BONNE CROISIERE
